England is now anchored as the base of the occupation.
Its Resistance is divided in its allegiances and unsure of the
direction of its future. England is at once safe because of its
proximity to the Chancellor and in danger because of it. Often
subject to his volatile temperament, England is forced to often
placate this unpredictable leader.

Restoration in France has been a long time coming. With over
a century of fighting in Paris, destroying the city, many members of
the French Resistance welcomed a new government committed to
rebuilding their home. Now the Resistance has been forced underground,
constantly trying, with some guilt, to fight against a government that is
rebuilding their city. It�s a moral dilemma that seems impossible to solve.

wake the DEAD

If there is any country that can claim stasis throughout the war and occupation,
it is Bulgaria. It took its beatings, fought back when it could, and in the end,
remains mostly unchanged. Apart from Durmstrang becoming coed, little
has changed in this relatively isolated country. The Resistance experienced
little dissent and continues to function as the small, unified group it was before
the war. Their danger, however, comes in the increased militaristic presence of the
ever growing school of Durmstrang.

` ` 2 Flames in the Tower

Italy seems to be in an infinite state of waning and waxing. The Italian
Resistance spent over one hundred years confined to the Vatican City, only
to break free and take control of all of Italy, to then be pushed back within
their old walls after years of fighting. Maltalvia is once again a governmental
institution, Naples tries to be as apolitical as possible, and Vatican City remains
the capital of traitors.

Acceptance into Hogwarts not only entails superiority to other citizens, but the chance to be in close working relations with the Chancellor, who makes his home in England and often visits his new empire's most prized school. The building itself is showing its age on the exterior, cracks line the grand walls and it almost looks as if it will crumble at any moment. □	St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries This is the place to get the best care for any disease, infection, malady, or injury: hence, the name. The Healers are still trained up extremely well, and pretty decent funding allows for medical research to be completed within the hospital�s walls. There are some marked changes, however. There is no need for the fa�ade with the abandoned clothing shop in the front, and the building has sprawled out over a great deal of land. Surrounding the large city is another stone wall, this one fifty feet in height, and very reminiscent of the wall surrounding the school at the center of town. □	Maltalvia Academy for Free Magic and Equal Learning Maltalvia Academy of Magic has had a tumultuous history. Built in the former Italian Ministry of Magic, Maltalvia evokes a sense of officialdom, but over the years has developed into anything but. With it's almost three year stint in the hands of the Italian Resistance, Maltalvia took on some very liberal arts-esque qualities. Now, under Chancellor McCarthy's government, Maltalvia is the place to go for a more liberal education. The school itself has some very unique features such as the lift and the mystery rooms. It currently holds the title of being the only school in Europe to offer an education for Muggles.
